Dr Chris Dawson, & Claire Dawson | Director

Chris and Claire have a deep admiration for the contribution made by Dowland and his contemporaries to English early music. This appreciation has motivated them to inspire the next generation of performers to enjoy the energy, the rich harmony and emotions of Dowland’s compositions. They were moved to open their house and garden for the use of the Dowland Youth Works: the tranquil environment provides the ideal setting for Dowland’s music. They are looking forwards to welcoming more future Dowland Youth Works members to come and learn new skills, make new friendships and share wonderful musical experiences in a nurturing and encouraging space.
